Woohoo a new blog! - ehem...Well i've started work on the new site today and its already functional. Wanted it to be content managed (fully), and to show off some of the things i can do. Its very very early days but you have to start somewhere. Still got to add the ability to display images and links in the 'items' and 'articles'. Still have to write the backend management stuff (putting everything directly into the db atm)! Fun fun fun......!

Well the links now show and the created by and created date. Needs some formatting tho.....

Has been a while since i posted here, have been very busy. Got a few sites up in Sites for you to look at. Got the login/registration working. Next to make it prettier!

Spent the entire weekend playing with Ajax, when i find the time, i'll show you - here! ;)

Well spent the last two days overhauling the look. Also added: 1. The AJAX window displaying the articles in all their glory. 2. The abilty to embed (videos and such like). 3. A weather bar (not done here yet). 4. Oh and its all on one page now instead of four ;) More to come, only just started..!

Well posting form data now using AJAX, which was a final hurdle of sorts....now i can re-write this site from the beginning: To look nicer To better support multiple resolutions Fully implement the admin pages (partially done) To add "themes" so you can single click a completely different style.

The scottie business is off ground, guess what - they need a website! The old site is out, a new design is due. This is not going to be rushed, this is going to be perfect..wait and see.

Well i intend to present 3 design comps for the scottie site, got one comp complete, 2 more to go....should be done this week with approval. Then ready to start putting it together next week. I'm looking forward to it, should be my best design yet once done, and (if i do say so myself) it should hold water against any low budget design out there - we will see. ;) (You get photos once all three are done)!

Might even play WoW tonight - be the first time in months....

Well its coming along nicely. Ajax photo gallery, Ajax Event calendar, these are done (with test data). Administration pages to be started. Some finalisation of the "look". Then real data and we're set. I'm surprised at how big the project is as the site itself is not overly complex but the end results (so far) are very encouraging, Links on the Site page as soon as it goes live.
