1. Web Design & Development - Well of a sort - if you want something really really pretty - better bring it with you. If you want something that looks good enough, is reasonably priced, works and can be found via human words on Google, then I'm that guy. It'll comply with standards (validate) . It'll be responsive, or WordPress (and responsive), or what you want...Opencart anyone?
2. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) - This is the best part for me - it's like gambling - you get numbers, you re-spin and you get better numbers, until you get the best numbers.....then well err you look for more new numbers......such fun! Page 1, positions 1 or 2 maybe 3 or I don't bother trying.
WordPress is another Open Source Content Management Solution. Again, freely available to download, install and use right now. Developed as a blogging platform, WordPress has evolved and can be used as a CMS without learning any coding. Functionality is extended by using plugins – there are just about as many as you could find use for. Visually WordPress can be customised by altering builtin themes or simply downloading new ones with a click. There is a vast amount of free themes and plugins and for business there is also a very strong developer community offering paid themes or plugins for professional use.
WordPress can be downloaded as a package to be installed if you have your own hosting (or even a local web server); alternatively you can visit http://www.wordpress.com and create a free blog hosted for you. (Customisation options are more limited this way, but it is an excellent way to have a look at WordPress without fiddling around with hosting).
